Addresses were spray painted on homes, streets and posts
in replace of street signs which had been swept away by the floods

Each home was searched after Katrina.
Homes where animals were found were spray painted
with "SPCA" and a listing of how many animals
were found and "F/W" which meant that food
and water were left for the animals.
